From Zero to HiPower: Building Hawaii’s Gaming PC Brand
HiPower PC started from nothing — no funding, no store, no inventory. I built my first gaming PCs on Facebook Marketplace as a hobby. Now, we have a webstore, we’re running ads, and we’re growing a brand. This page is here to share that journey — the struggles, the wins, and the reality of building a gaming PC business from scratch. I want to inspire both gamers and entrepreneurs who are chasing their own dreams.
For the Gamers
If you're here for the gaming, we've got something for you. Our lineup is designed to give you clear choices — no overwhelming lists of endless parts, no anxiety, just solid performance. Prices are fair, and every component is hand-picked to work perfectly together. We're not here to squeeze every dollar out of you. We’re here to build you a great gaming PC.
My first build was a Frankenstein PC powered by a Supermicro X8DTT-F server board. I literally cut up a power supply to feed eight proprietary 12V pins. It was messy, but it sparked something. That drive and obsession, is now poured into HiPower PC. Each of the builds now benefit from the lessons learned back then. I'm trying to share that here on our YouTube channel - upcoming benchmarks, performance testing, and more.
For the Entrepreneurs
If you’re here to follow the business journey, welcome. I’m documenting everything as best I can- the strategies, the experiments, the failures, and hopefully, the wins. I'll be transparent with my numbers to give you a realistic look at how its going. It’s still the early days: we launched in August 2025, and as of now, there are still no sales. That’s reality. But I’m grinding every day to make it happen.
I’ll be uploading behind-the-scenes vlogs showing you how I’m running ads, growing the site, managing budgets, and learning e-commerce from the ground up. It’s part transparency, part motivation, and hopefully useful for anyone building something from scratch. Stick around, the story is just starting!
